Awoken and raised in the colossal, stone citadels known as 'Velar', the Storn's acolytes and adherents, the higher mediaries, and even the lofty auscultos live to serve. Their work, their dedication to the Beings, and gratitude to the Preservers are sacred. And nobody would dare question, otherwise.
Unless they stumbled upon a hidden place with a powerful and dangerous secret, that is.
